Dear Friends,
The Dance Academy of Duncan (D.A.D.) in it’s tenth year of operation, offers quality dance instruction in ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop and creative movement for students ranging in age from 3 years to teen. We uphold our Christian atmosphere and feel very strongly about keeping our dance classes and costumes inline with what is age appropriate and respectful to our dancers. We emphasize proper technique while encouraging creative expression. We believe, classical dance for the art appreciation promotes individuality, bolsters self-confidence and teaches our students to express themselves creatively, while developing skill and grace.
D.A.D. is a not-for-profit organization ran by a board of parent volunteers, which strive to bring dance to our community at an affordable rate. We are pleased to have been able to keep our fees the same for over 5 years.
Our studio class schedule follows the Duncan Public School calendar throughout our season and culminate with our spring recital in May at our lovely Simmons Center Theater.
